During Academic Year 2019/20, we introduced virtual and remote learning
which has proven to be successful with several of our students. They enjoy
the ‘real-time’, ‘face-to-face’ learning from the comfort of their own homes.
We have worked with our tutors to equip them with the skills that lead to a
smooth, safe and interactive lesson.
Our online lessons are flexible and enable us to continue the one-to-one
support our students need.
All of our tutors are IT aware and actively promote online safety, parents and
carers are given step-by-step instructions to follow and guide the student
online.
We follow the same attendance policy as face-to-face tuition. If a child or
young person does not log on after 15 minutes, then our office is informed
and a parent/carer or relevant school contact is given a call to ascertain why
they are not online at the specified session time.
